You’ll support the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Sustainable Drainage (SuDS) strategies, and drainage design for development and regeneration schemes.

We’re representing a leading consultancy looking to expand its environmental and infrastructure planning division with a Flood Risk Consultant in their Southampton office.
You’ll support the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Sustainable Drainage (SuDS) strategies, and drainage design for development and regeneration schemes.
The Role:
- Preparing flood risk assessments and drainage strategies for planning applications
- Supporting senior consultants on SuDS design and feasibility studies
- Using GIS, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modelling software
- Liaising with local authorities, developers, and other stakeholders
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science
- 1–3 years’ experience in flood risk or drainage consultancy
- Strong understanding of SuDS principles and relevant legislation
- Excellent written and analytical skills
- £30,000 – £38,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
