What You’ll Be Doing
- Business Growth & Strategy
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across a range of sectors.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow market share and support long-term company objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure business development aligns with wider organizational goals.
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for potential clients, offering tailored solutions to meet project requirements.
- Work closely with pre-construction and project management teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
- Support sales targets through proactive engagement and securing new projects.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities, sales pipelines, and market trends.
- Monitor industry developments and competitor activity to keep the company competitive and innovative.
- Networking & Brand Promotion
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Strengthen the company’s reputation and visibility in the construction sector.
- Relevant experience in business development within the construction sector.
- Proven track record of securing large-scale construction projects and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and relevant frameworks.

- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and business growth.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
