A Telehandler Operator is responsible for operating telehandler equipment, also known as telescopic handlers or forklifts, to lift, move, and position materials on construction sites, warehouses, or industrial facilities. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and efficient material handling.

QUALIFICATIONS

There are no formal academic entry requirements. A variety of vocational qualifications in Forklift Truck Operations are available at Level 2.

TASKS

  • Operate telehandler equipment to lift, lower, and position materials or equipment..
  • Maneuver the telehandler with precision to reach various heights and distances..
  • Load and unload materials onto/from trucks or storage areas using the telehandler..
  • Transport materials to different locations within construction sites or facilities..
